Lady Gaga has bought her first home in California, a multi-million dollar beach-front estate in Malibu. What got people talking was the so-called batcave that came with the property. Was it really a cave with damp, dark, rocky walls and with real bats? Since we were talking about Lady Gaga, anything was possible!
TMZ reported that she bought it at the listing price of $24.95 million but property records show it was recently purchased under a trust for $22.5 million, according to Zillow.
Turns out, the batcave was comprised of an "800-bottle wine cellar, home theater, bar and a 1960s-era two-lane bowling alley — all accessible by a “secret door” from the living room."
This fully furnished multipurpose underground cellar was called the “batcave” because the previous owner of the home, Dan Romanelli, was behind the toys and apparel from the “Batman” movies.
