When most people would not be so
proud to flaunt children from different women, one of Ghana’s most popular hip
pop acts, Nii Addo Quaynor, popularly known as Tinny, sees it all from a
different angle.
The rapper, who finally addressed
the issue of his paternity to children from different mothers in a recent
interview with eTV Ghana, disclosed in a somewhat proud manner: ‘I have four
kids, three boys and a girl from three women. The eldest was named after my
mother, Naa Badoo Quaynor.’ The ‘Makola Kwakwe’ rapper, who joined the rap game
in 1994, was at a time arguably the most popular music act in Nigeria.
He bagged the Youth Excellence award for the ‘Youth Musician of 2003 and ‘New Artiste of the year’ at the Ghana Music Awards in Accra and Ghana Music Awards UK in 2004. But in the last few years, not much has been heard of him, with many claiming his career has headed downhill with his many paternity issues with different women and intense competition on the Ghanaian music scene....
