After 22 seasons and more than 12 years on air, it’s time to say goodbye to America’s Next Top Model.
The CW has decided not to pick up the long-running series for a 23rd season, and the final episode will air on Friday, December 4.
Mark Pedowitz, current President of The CW, released the following statement about Top Model‘s cancellation:
“‘America’s Next Top Model’ was a
successful franchise for two networks, first at UPN and then The CW, and
it became not just a ratings hit, but a global pop culture phenomenon. I
want to thank Tyra and Ken for all their years of success in
establishing a show that was not just popular in the U.S., but all
across the world.”
Rest in peace, America’s Next Top Model. What a run!
