Yesterday, a crowd of supporters were seen in the home of former Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi.
In a solidarity manner, the crowd cheered the governor up concerning his ministerial screening dilemma. Recall that the ministerial nominee has been in the midst of controversies following allegations of corruption and embezzlement while in power.
Out of the first 21 ministerial nominees from ‘batch A’, 19 have been screened while one nominee from Batch B has also been screened, leaving 15 nominees from ‘batch B’, and Rotimi Amaechi from the first list is yet to be quizzed and one, Ahmed Musa Ibeto, withdrawn from the list of nominees.
During yesterday’s sitting, Amaechi’s screening was not discussed, postponed or even scheduled. See the photos of people who came to support the former governor in his home:
Just recently, the former governor showed that even with his many political travails, he still has time for his wife, Judith.
