Hilarious Video: Watch As Gen. TY Danjuma Mistakenly Say Buhari Was Killed in 1976

Former Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, General T.Y. Danjuma has made a hilarious mistake in which he said President Buhari was killed in 1976. 

77-year-old retired General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma,while giving a talk recently mistakengly said President Muhammadu Buhari was killed in 1976.

A video which surfaced online shows the retired general quickly correcting himself after realising his error.

Many who watched the video have luaghed off the mistake saying the old man can be excused for such errors considering is age.

TY Danjuma was speaking at the 40th memorial lecture in honour of  Late General Muhammed organised by the Murtala Mohammed Foundation. He is the vice chairman of the foundation.

Danjuma who seemed to be on a roll in his ‘comic’ acts, had earlier made the audience laugh when he singled out his state governor, Architect Darius Ishaku for special mention after acknowledging dignatries at the event. He referred to the governor’s recent validation of his electoral victory at the supreme court over Nigeria’s women affairs minister, Senator Aishat Alhassan, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in what appears to be made in a mocking tone.

After making the audience laugh for most part of his speech, Danjuma who served under the late General Muhammed, in an emotional laden voice, recalled how he had been condemned to death by Lt. Col. Buka Suka Dimka and his gang of conspirators who "killed General Muhammed", but he was saved by the grace of God.
