Photos: Dora Akunyili's family discovers 110 more awards she stored away



Almost 2 years after Nigeria lost late Dr Dora Nkem Akunyili, former Minister and one time NAFDAC Director General, her family has discovered 110 awards this woman of substance won during her lifetime.

Displaying the mages on Facebook, her son James Louis wrote:

With this discovery, her total number of awards stands at 930.

Dubbed the "Iron Lady" by her well wishers due to her relentless efforts in curbing the menace posed by the sale of sub-standard and counterfeit drugs in Nigeria, the late Dr Akunyili won so many awards too numerous to mention both at home and in Diaspora.
