A man has been arrested and charged after allegedly putting hydrochloric acid inside what is understood to be a lubricant dispenser at a gay club in Sydney's north-west. Police said the 62-year-old man went into the Bridge Street premises in Rydalmere on Saturday, filling a dispenser inside a room with the highly corrosive acid.

  Former Nigerian footballer, Joseph Yobo who visited the popular Ikoyi Prisons, has revealed that his foundation would work hard to release as many inmates awaiting trial at the prisons in Lagos.  Speaking on Saturday in Lagos, former captain of the Super Eagles, Joseph Yobo, who inaugurated the Ikoyi Prisons Football Academy, disclosed that the  'Joseph Yobo Foundation'  will work to release as many inmates of Ikoyi Prisons as posible, especially those awaiting trial.

He was rescued and rushed to the hospital by a man named Tajudeen. The angry Muslims stormed the home of Tajudeen and set it ablaze, killing eight occupants.

Although Idris sells lightening creams, he has never hidden the fact that his lifestyle is sponsored by a wealthy married politician he fondly calls 'Bae'.. Emmanuel Adeyemi, a self-acclaimed prophet in Lagos has been arrested by the police.  The man was arrested by the police in Lagos State after 28 persons were allegedly found chained in his apartment in the Oke-Ira, Ogba area of the state.  

The victims hauled into an ambulance for a first aid treatment   A ghastly road accident has happened in the commercial capital of Lagos with two casualties recorded.  Two passengers were seriously injured yesterday at about 7pm on the Eko bridge, Lagos when a commercial bus somersaulted after tyres got burst in the process.   The operatives of the Rapid Response Squad in the city came in handy as they helped in the evacuation of injured passengers.  

  A newborn baby who was obviously abandoned by the mother, has been found left alone in a public place.  The day-old baby girl has been found near the main gate of Government College, Katsina. According to Vaguard, the baby was abandoned by an unknown woman on Monday.   The woman abandoned the baby about 300 meters away from Katsina Motherless Baby Home at the early hours of the day.

We reported it yesterday that the 30-year-old trader identified as Joe Fortemose Chinakwe, who made major headline throughout last week after being arrested by the Police in Ogun State, and spent 3-days in police cell for naming his pet dog  'Buhari',  was arraigned yesterday, August 22 in court.

The baby being rescued   Barely 48-hours after the birth at the Chukwunonso Maternity in Isiala Mbano LGA of Imo state, a new baby was stolen by unknown child thieves.  According to a report by Channels TV, the Imo state police command has rescued a 3-day old baby, born to the family of Mr and Mrs Oluebube Ekwedike of Umuezealaowerre Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

A tip-off received by Nigeria's intelligence officers led to police raiding a suspected gay wedding ceremony on Saturday in the northern city of Sokoto , a police spokesman Almustafa Sani has told the BBC Hausa service. Police were conducting a thorough investigating with a view to charge the two people arrested for being involved in "unnatural" conduct, he added. Other people at the ceremony dispersed when police arrived at the venue, he added.  Mr Sani said homosexuality was illegal under Nigeria's secular constitution, and Islamic law which is applied in Sokoto state.

Security sources are saying Shekau was seriously wounded and he may have been captured. President Muhammadu Buhari   A Nigerian writer has blasted Garba Shehu's piece with this epic reply why Nigerians are losing it over abysmal performance of this administration.  First, let's get certain things very clear here. President Buhari is an employee of the Nigerian people and so are his appointees. As such, we have a right to criticize them whenever we feel they are progressing in error. Holding the government accountable is the duty of every free citizens of every free state. It is the government that should fear her citizens, not the other way round. Our job is to pay tax and be law abiding. We only need to respect our government officials, not fear them and the respect should be mutual.
