Like play, play, we have finally gotten to the last day of year 2014 . We thank God for His mercies and His love and His grace. We thank God because we know our seeing this day has nothing to do with us at all, but has everything to do with Him. Let's take a review of the passing year guys,  1. It’s no secret that Kim Kardashian loves the spotlight, but it seems like her name was attached to a new headline nearly every day. Teresa Giudice: The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was sentenced to 15 months in prison for fraud charges stemming from a 39-count indictment filed in July 2013. Teresa and her husband Joe pleaded guilty to charges of bank fraud, mail and wire fraud and bankruptcy fraud in March 2014. Joe was ordered to serve 41 months in jail and pay $414,000 in restitution.   In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Nicki Minaj has come out say that having an abortion for one of her Exs who happens to be her first love, an older man called Aaron, still haunts her. Some passengers suffered slight injuries after a Virgin Atlantic plane carrying 462 people was forced to make an emergency landing in London on Monday due to a problem with its landing gear. Gatwick Airport's single runway was temporarily closed because of the incident, with no planes allowed to depart or land, a spokesman said adding that some passengers had suffered "minor injuries". The British airline's Boeing 747 jumbo jet landed with only four of its five sets of landing gear deployed, according to photos and video shown on television.

An Indonesian official confirmed debris found floating in the Java Sea on Tuesday is from the missing AirAsia jet, presumed to have crashed in shallow waters off the Indonesian coast. Local media reported the sighting of what is thought to be bodies floating in the water.  An Indonesian warship has retrieved 40 bodies so far, a navy spokesman said, local media reported. The plane has yet to be found and there was no word on the possibility of any survivors. A shadow of what is believed to be the fuselage of the missing AirAsia plane has been spotted from the air, Indonesia's search and rescue chief says.

  Nigerian actor Joseph Benjamin who on Tuesday opens up on his marriage crisis in this recent interview with Adeola Adeyemi revealed how he married his wife out of pity because she got pregnant while they were dating. An Indonesia AirAsia Airbus carrying 162 people - 155 passengers, two pilots, four flight attendants and one engineer, which took off from the city of Surabaya in Indonesia and bound for Singapore, lost contact with air traffic control about two hours after take-off, while flying over the Java Sea. The passengers included 138 adults, 16 children and one infant according to a statement released by AirAsia following the disappearance of the plane. Indonesia's acting director general of transportation, said the last contact between pilot and the air traffic control was at 6.13 a.m. on Saturday) “when the pilot requested permission to deviate from its submitted flight plan route due to weather condition." There was vigorous thunderstorm at the time. It's been hours now since the plane went missing and there has been no update on the plane's whereabouts.

Officials of the Lagos Internal Revenue Service, LIRS, have shut down Infinity Television owned by flamboyant preacher, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, for owing the state government several millions. This is coming on the heels of Tuesday’s protest by workers of the TV station over non payment of 10 months salaries and non-remittance of their Pay As You Earn, PAYE, tax to the appropriate authorities. Ailing Infinity TV, located on 16, Moyibat Oyefusi Street, Omole Phase 1, is a Direct To Home, DTH cable TV owned by Pastor Oyakilome of Christ Embassy and was incorporated in 2009. As members of staff of the company were protesting non-payment of salaries on Tuesday, officials of the LIRS stormed the premises of the company, shut it down and placed a notice on the gate after locking it with padlock.
