Paul Walker’s 16-year-old daughter Meadow has filed a lawsuit against Porsche over the death of her father.
The Fast and Furious actor was killed nearly two years ago when his friend Roger Rodas lost control of Paul’s 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, spun and crashed into a tree.
According to TMZ, who obtained a copy of the lawsuit, lawyers for Meadow attribute car defects—deficient stabilization system, side door reinforcements, fuel lines, etc.—to the actor’s death.
They also claim that Roger was driving slower than what has been reported (law enforcement has stated that Roger was driving between 80 to 93 miles per hour, while the lawsuit claims he was driving between 63 to 71).
Jeff Miliam, Meadow’s lawyer, shared the following with TMZ:
“The bottom line is that the Porsche
Carrera GT is a dangerous car. It doesn’t belong on the street. And we
shouldn’t be without Paul Walker or his friend, Roger Rodas.”
