Karrueche Tran’s emotionally-charged interview about Chris Brown aired on OWN on Saturday. Check out the videos below.
Reports has it that Tran sat down with Iyanla Vanzantin the wake of her breakup with Brown after finding out he had fathered a baby girl named Royalty nine months ago. Tran’s rep told that she was “ambushed” with questions about their controversial relationship, and the full episode showed Tran breaking down over the situation.
“The man I loved hurt me and betrayed me,” Tran said through tears,revealing that she found out about Brown’s child through social media. She denied being angry at Brown’s baby mama Nia, saying, “I’m not that girl. I’m not like trying to call her, trying to cuss her out. My issue
is with myself and with Chris. Not the baby, not the mother.”
Tran said Brown has apologized for “everything,” but there’s “no making up right now” because she’s “fed up with what he put me through.”Still, she acknowledged, “He did give me love. Maybe it wasn’t the right love or the same level… There’s no doubt in my mind that Chris loves me. I know he does.” And, Tran admitted, “I still love him.”
Vanzant pointed out, however, that Tran “voluntarily participated” in a toxic relationship, and told her, “Karrueche, you could’ve said no at any moment.” Tran seems to realize that now. As kevwesalubi reported, she took to Instagram hours before the broadcast to write, “This is
about recognizing my mistakes and learning from them. I own up to all
the poor choices I have made and pray for the better.”
