Kanye is pulling another social media stunt. Kanye West, 39, deleted both his Twitter and
Instagram accounts on Friday afternoon, just hours before his kids' clothing line with wife Kim Kardashian
was set to launch.
The line, called The Kids Supply, launched at 3 p.m. on Friday — but first Ye had to remove himself from social media for unknown reasons.
Items were on pre-order and would ship in three to five weeks, according to the site.
The "Famous" rapper has been out of the spotlight in recent months since being hospitalized for a nervous breakdown back in November.
He even avoided accompanying his wife to the star-studded Met Gala on Monday night.
"He's been taking some time off and really loving that," Kardashian told Vogue of her husband's absence.
Social media users went into a frenzy on Friday after they noticed the rapper's accounts were gone.
"This is honestly such a sad day for me, I literary made my Twitter all those years ago specifically to follow Kanye," one user wrote.
Another added, "Kanye deleted his Twitter, and now my favorite tweet of all time is gone forever."
