Ray J Talks Respecting Women, His Return to ‘Love and Hip Hop’ and How Much Money He REALLY Made from the Kim Kardashian Sex Tape
Ray J stopped by The B. Scott Show earlier this week to talk about his new single, “Brown Sugar” in addition to opening up about his future on ‘Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood’ and changing his ratchet ways.
Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood season 2 is currently underway, and Ray says that he’s working on himself so that things don’t get out of control like they did during season 1.
“I lost control, and I don’t want
people to remember me from that. I’m just doing a lot of soul searching,
cleaning up my situation in my own mind and then I’m back strong.”
When asked about his treatment of ex-girlfriend Teairra Mari during the show, Ray says he knows he was was ‘wrong’.
“I was wrong. I have nothing but love
for [Teairra Mari]. Again, a lot of things that they see on the show —
it was my first time doing this kind of show — so I just let it all out.
I didn’t even care.”
“I’ve had my times where I went crazy
and I had a lot of sh*t to say. Sometimes, it was a lot for promo
purposes. But, you know, I’m 34 now, and I love everybody. I just want
to see everybody [succeed].”
He also disclosed a little bit about how much money he REALLY made from that Kim Kardashian sex tape:
“You know, for me, I can’t boast on
it because it’s still so political, but I just always try to just smile
and have a good time. You know, legally I can’t get into all that. In my
younger stages, I would have a lot to say…”
