Joan Rivers Rushed to the Hospital After Going Into Cardiac Arrest During Surgery; Currently in Stable Condition

Joan Rivers was rushed to a NYC hospital early this morning after she stopped breathing during a surgery on her throat.
Rivers was undergoing a procedure on her vocal cords.
An emergency call was placed to 911 indicating that Joan had undergone “either cardiac or respiratory arrest.” She was then rushed to the hospital.
According to TMZ, Joan is currently in critical condition.
UPDATE: Joan Rivers is in stable condition, a source told E! News.
